Right from the start, Otto was quite the go getter!  He was the wildest puppy we’ve ever had, and he clearly needed a job or he’d drive us nuts.  So off to obedience classes we went.  He did well at obedience, well, maybe there was some issues with his down.  This is where I learned about clickers and shaping, and where our agility journey began.  Our obedience instructor was one of the best agility instructors in the area.  Otto was constantly dragging me over to the agility equipment, and the rest is history!  Otto competed in the USA and Canada in both agility and obedience.  At the AAC Nationals he placed 20th out of 85 dogs in the very competitive jump height of 22″.  Of those, 43 were border collies!
